Every November, Gem-A students gather in Central London for our Graduation and Presentation of Awards. This sparkling evening event celebrates the achievements of our Gemmology and Diamond Diploma students. The occasion welcomes speakers from across the industry, as well as Gem-A alumni, staff and tutors who make our renowned gemmological education possible.
Special awards and prizes are presented to those who have excelled in their practical and theoretical exams, including the coveted Anderson Medal for exceptional Foundation papers and the Christie’s Prize for the best overall Gemmology Diploma exam.
We are pleased to welcome Gem-A students from our global Accredited Teaching Centres, which ensures the Gem-A Graduation is a truly international affair. Passionate gemmologists join us from Japan, China, Madagascar, France, the United States of America, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and, of course, the United Kingdom. This is also the perfect opportunity for our Online Distance Learning graduates to celebrate their achievements with their tutors and peers.
And if that doesn’t sound tempting enough, the Graduation Ceremony takes place during the Gem-A Conference. This means you can benefit from our preferential student Conference rates (just £50 per day, including lunch) and attend the Graduation Ceremony all in one visit to London. The evening is capped with a drinks reception that gives graduates the chance to network and share their experiences with a national and international crowd.
We return to The Royal Institution of Great Britain, for the second year. A Grade 1 listed building in the heart of Mayfair, the Ri combines a scientific heritage spanning over 200 hundreds years with a prestigious and impressive backdrop, the perfect venue for our Graduation.
Students eligible to attend the Graduation ceremony have been sent an invitation via email. If you would like to attend please follow the instructions in the email and register your place on Eventbrite. If you haven't received the email please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
