South East Branch

About

Gemmology and the gemmological community mean a great deal to us, and we are passionate about helping the South East branch of Gem-A continue to grow and thrive.

With over 20 years of experience each in the gem and jewellery industry, our aim is to bring people together through engaging events, informal meet-ups, and a welcoming network for anyone with an interest in gemmology. Whether you’re a student, enthusiast, or experienced professional, we look forward to meeting you and building a vibrant community across the region.

Facet Nation Podcast

Born into a family of jewellers on the Isle of Wight, I have spent over 20 years working in the jewellery industry, including the last 14 years in Hatton Garden.

An FGA and DGA, I am passionate about gemmology, education, and sharing knowledge. More recently, I have taken up gemstone faceting and am a member of the UK Facet Cutters Guild.
