Step into the fascinating world of antique jewellery and discover the secrets behind identifying the real from the replica!
Join antique jewellery specialist and Lillicoco.com founder Stacey Lillico for an entertaining and insightful look at how to identify jewellery from different eras, recognise the hallmarks of its period and learn some of the clues that can reveal a fake.
With more than 30,000 vintage and antique pieces bought and sold over the past decade, Stacey brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a keen eye for the details that make each piece unique.
After the talk, stay for networking and a live gemstone faceting demonstration from the Bristol and District Lapidary Society, 7–8pm.
Discover how skilled lapidaries transform rough gemstones into beautifully finished faceted stones, compare natural and synthetic materials, and get the chance to ask questions and see the techniques up close.
