On successful completion of the Gemmology Diploma, students can apply to be a Fellow of the Gemmological Association (FGA). Fellows can use the internationally recognised letters FGA after their name, and take advantage of the excellent benefits available to our Fellows.

Part of becoming a Fellow of the Association is about the intangible benefits a membership of the Association can bring to you, your career and your professional development. During the course of your membership with Gem-A, we endeavour to ensure all our FGA Members are kept up-to-date with all the latest news, views and educational information from the trade and given resources to continue their professional development. As part of your FGA membership, you will also receive:

In order to apply you FGA membership you must have successfully completed the Gemmology Diploma, only once you become a member will you be eligible to use the designatory letters FGA after your name.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?
To sign up you can either apply for your subscription online using the sign-up button below, or download our Membership Application Form from membership resources and fill in the sections relevant to the type of membership you are applying for. Return to us via email, fax or post along with payment of the membership fee.
All subscriptions are renewable on 1 January each year. Membership rates for 2016 are £135 or £110 if paying by direct debit (UK banks only).
